Fire Prevention

The Fire Prevention Bureau (FPB) has a wide range of responsibilities, from performing building safety inspections to educating the community as to the best fire prevention practices.  One of the more popular programs that the FPB has instituted is the “Learn not to Burn” program which involves the FPB investing time in the our community schools, grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade, educating students and teachers on fire safety.

In addition to safety inspections and education, the FPB also spends time in our community performing different demonstrations and working with the public to ensure their homes are fire safe.  If you have any questions or concerns for the FPB, please contact us at (847) 945-4088, or email us at dbfd@dbfd.org.
